Meet Faculty, Explore MAS-CS Online

Meet a member of our faculty – Brandon Krakowsky – and explore the MAS-CS Online program!

The online Master of Applied Science in Computer Science (MAS-CS Online) program was designed especially for those without any extensive prior experience in computer science. This graduate degree is ideal for those who are looking to:

  • start a new career in tech and CS,
  • enhance their current career with new CS skills and knowledge, or
  • strengthen self-taught CS skills with a formal credential.

Our Focus on Faculty webinars invite you to gain an insider’s perspective on our innovative online graduate pathways by hearing directly from key members of the Penn Engineering faculty. During this webinar you’ll meet Professor Brandon Krakowsky, who teaches at the University of Pennsylvania as a Lecturer for both Penn Engineering and The Wharton School. He is also Director of Data Science and Research for the Wharton AI & Analytics Initiative. He teaches two of our online graduate courses:

▸ CIT 5910: Introduction to Software Development
▸ EAS 5740: How to Use Data

During this webinar, Professor Krakowsky will help participants learn more about our MAS-CS Online program – from the world-class faculty, to the rigorous foundational curriculum, to our collaborative student community that spans the globe. Webinar participants will also hear about best practices from our Admissions Team for preparing a strong MAS-CS application.
