Richard D. Forman is currently the managing partner of Health Venture Group, LLC a private investment company focused on technology and consumer related health care investments. Companies in the digital healthcare space that Mr. Forman founded or was an early investor include: Sapphire Digital (f/k/a Vitals.Com) sold to Zelis in October of 2021 Doctor.com sold to Press Ganey in 2020 Centrihealth, an EMR firm sold to United Healthcare in 2017.

Previously, Mr. Forman was co-Founder, President and CEO of Register.com, Inc. (NASDAQ-RCOM) through June of 2003. He took the Company public, deregulated the domain name registration market, and grew the Company to over $120mm in annualized revenue and over $4 billion market capitalization.

Also, Mr. Forman was a consultant with Booz & Company, an engineer with Motorola in Tel-Aviv, Israel, an engineer with General Motors and a computer programmer for Lehman Brothers.

Currently Richard is an active real estate investor in Florida across residential, industrial, and commercial assets classes with properties in Naples, West Palm Beach, Jacksonville, Sarasota and Port Richey.

Mr. Forman served on the Board of Advisors to the University of Pennsylvania School of Engineering (Philadelphia, PA), and currently serves on the board of the Lee Health Foundation (Ft. Myers, FL) and Maimonides Medical Center (Brooklyn, NY).

Mr. Forman is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania (Penn’s) Management and Technology Program where he earned a B.S. in Economics (Wharton) and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. He also obtained a Masters Degree from New York University’s Real Estate Institute.

Richard is a recipient of The D. Robert Yarnall Award from University of Pennsylvania for outstanding contributions to the field of engineering or technology. He is also a recipient of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. He left NYC in March of 2020 and moved to Naples, FL.
