On April 26, 2024 Penn Engineering Online hosted a webinar featuring Boon Thau Loo, who serves as Associate Dean for Graduate Programs at the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Engineering and Applied Science. He is also an RCA Professor in our Department of Computer and Information Science with a secondary appointment in Electrical and Systems Engineering and is the Director of the Distributed Systems Laboratory.
During this webinar, Associate Dean Loo discussed the structure of the MCIT Online program, the courses he teaches, the ins and outs of the virtual classroom and the unique, interactive community experience offered by Penn Engineering Online. He was joined by Jacquie Panto, Associate Director of Admissions, who reviewed the application process and best practices for prospective students who are planning to submit applications. Together, they answered questions from live webinar participants about the MCIT Online degree, the student experience and the admissions process.
