MCIT Online students enter the program from a broad range of professional and academic backgrounds: stay-at-home parents looking to restart their career, doctors aiming to expand their technical knowledge, and everything in between. MCIT Online provides a collaborative and structured curriculum that supports students in achieving a wide variety of goals by delivering courses in a format that fits into many different lifestyles and schedules. The inclusive community of virtual learners is actively engaged in supporting, encouraging and inspiring each other throughout their Penn Engineering Online journeys.

“One of my favorite aspects of the program is the sense of collaboration and community within the cohorts. Take the opportunity to branch outside of lectures and academics, and become involved in the vibrant MCIT Online community. An exciting way to become involved is to participate in the many external offerings like the peer mentorship program, MOSA student organization, and SPARC competition.”
